AI: "The future creator or Destroyer?"

 

I have got a very hard project; how will I be able to complete it on time? I have no idea how to do it, but hey I have my smartphone, I have an internet connection and I also have my friend named “CHATGPT”. Hmm, now I’ll be able to do it in seconds no need to worry! Now I just need a pillow and a blanket to just relax and chill.

                Hey guys, welcome to another blog! I hope you’re all good and fine. Have you felt the same after reading the story above, have you ever tried "CHATGPT" or any of the AI tools before? I am pretty sure that almost every one of us who has a smartphone is aware of "ChatGPT" or any other AI tools. It's quite easy to just visit the tool and write our query and just boom in a few seconds we get the answer back. Who says life is hard, just use ChatGPT, write a few words and we get back the answers we need, this is not limited to just writing and getting answers, there are many tools which are available on the internet that make our life easy! It sounds so exciting, isn’t it? But always remember whenever the advantages are visible, the disadvantages are somewhere hidden but present. So today in this blog, let's discuss artificial intelligence and its tools which are available on the internet!

                What is Artificial intelligence? Artificial intelligence is the simulation of human intelligence which is processed by machines or computer systems. It sounds really good that the machines will do work as humans do or maybe do the work better than humans. Let's discuss some of the AI tools that are available on the internet:

The first tool is CHATGPT: All the students are very familiar with this AI tool which makes student's life easy in doing assignments and projects not like writing answers on sheets or pages but to generate answers to the questions. Do you know more tools are there similar to ChatGPT? There are tools like Co-pilot which is present in the Bing browser and in Windows 11 this tool is created by Microsoft and is almost the same as ChatGPT but in Windows 11 it does more work in making our work easy, another tool which is made by android is GEMINI AI which is here to replace the Google Assistant in the future because GEMINI is an assistant with more AI features.

Now let's not get into the names or websites of the AI tools because there are plenty of them available on the internet, you will get them after just a click!

The second tool is AI Image/Video Generator/Editor: There are AI tools that can generate images from the text/prompt we give it to. For Example: if I need a photo of a car that is on Mars, I'll get it. Not just about generating images from the internet; Talking about Photoshop, which was very hard, it may be easy for you but for a few people photoshop was a challenging task that took hours and hours but now see there are AI tools for image editing you just have to select what you want to do and the computer or any of your device will do it for you in seconds.

The third tool is AI Audio Generator: This tool is interesting, this tool can sing for you, you just have to write your lyrics and then this tool will sing, and compose and now you have your song but sung by AI. This tool is not limited to here, it can also sing in any person's voice like if I want a song in the voice of maybe "Ronaldo", it will make it, and trust me it would feel like Ronaldo is singing the song.

There are plenty more AI tools available on the internet like document editor, CV maker, etc. If you need to use one, you can search it on the web and you will get it. This was all about AI tools.

What if I tell you that there are robots and not just robots but also Robot Dogs and small-sized robots available in the market? Yes, you heard it right, there are now robot dogs in the market. Talking first about the small robots, there are small robots which are to entertain us. They can click photos, they can make expressions on the screen, can dance to the music, and many more. Secondly, there are AI dogs that actually imitate real dogs and can also copy humans. Would you like to purchase any of them?

                Talking more about smart products then you have heard "Tesla" before. These are smart cars that are controlled by a screen in the middle of the dashboard of the car and it can also be controlled by mobile application. It also has a special feature which is Auto-Pilot which can drive the car automatically. Imagine a road full of smart cars with no driver in the driver seat and they are running while following all the traffic rules. Looking at Tesla, now some cars use AI tools to park automatically, also there are features in cars like lane assist which tells the car to stay in its line. Leaving the cars here. Have you heard of Multi-Verse? What about a multiverse while wearing glasses? Yes, now there are glasses and there are products like “Apple Vision Pro” which can take you to another world while you wear them. Imagine sitting in your room and traveling to the Moon.

                Our human mind is so powerful, first, it created phones and added Smart before it and I think in a few years hardly there will be products without AI and almost every gadget will be written with the prefix "Smart"-Device. Life will be so easy in a few years; humans will order and robots will work. But as I told you earlier if the advantages are visible and are shining bright then there must be disadvantages hidden in the dark. Let's discuss them!

                The disadvantages of AI are also present in the market, they are becoming visible day by day whenever we use AI:

Deepfake: The term Deepfake refers to editing of any audio, video, or image using AI. It looks so easy but deep inside it is very dark. Using AI to edit people's audio, video, or image and replace it with some other people or characters. It may be fun for some people but for other people you're destroying their privacy and their respect, also the Deepfake videos or images are made with so perfection that even the editor would not be able to recognize the difference between real and fake.

Misusing the AI: The students are misusing the AI for homework, projects, or assignments. Even though I have used it for my homework I think this is wrong because we are dependent on AI for our studies which simply means that AI is getting more powerful in everyday lives.

Robot's future: We have seen AI robots that are doing more work than humans, let's imagine a place where all the robots are working and a human boss is controlling them; one day in the future, the robots will send the boss away and the boss will be robots itself, this is because we have given brain to robots and what if the robot uses its brain for its work only?

Lazy humans: I have read somewhere that humans use less than 10% of their brains and have you imagined what will happen if humans don't use their brains? The percentage of the brain will decrease day by day and we will become lazy.

                The conclusion: I would like to tell you that we are humans and we use our brains to make innovations, technology, and AI. In the end, what happens is: we are fully dependent on the products that we have made and we blame it on technology!
