"Childhood is always good!"

 

I was returning from a trip,

From where I have got so many gifts.

My mom came and woke me up from my sleep,

Then I realized it was just a dream!

    She told me to quickly dress up for school,

    "Hey Mom, please stop being so cruel,

    I don’t want to go today,

    Let me spend this day as a good holiday!”

She didn’t listen to any reason,

She said, "Go now, come back then have fun!"

Then I went to the school,

With a bag and a bad mood.

    My mother dropped me off at the school,

    And I was making my face like a fool.

    Then my friends came and took me inside,

    Now I’ll have to wait till the school gets over, to go outside.

The time was passing slowly,

I was thinking of going home early.

Suddenly, the school’s bell rang,

And from the classrooms to the main gate, everyone just ran!

    My mom brought me home,

    I rushed to my room,

    And turned on the television.

    Now it will be a fun session.

The whole day will be spent on T.V.,

I'll be just watching cartoons: Shinchan, Doraemon, and Oggy!

My mom brings me food,

This life is looking so good.

    “Get up! Get up!” I could hear,

    The professor was calling me, I think "Now the punishment is near!"

    I was again watching a good dream,

    "Childhood is always good!" I screamed.

Now I am sitting alone,

Just reflecting:

"Life was so good when we don't have any phones.

Study a little, play a lot,

Go to school and come back home.

No stress or anxiety to think of,

Enjoy the current moment and just move on!"

    With time, life has changed,

    Stress and anxiety, it has gained!

    Responsibilities have also joined my way,

    Let’s see what next will my diary’s page say!
