"The Ray of Light!"

 

The sun was setting,

The moon was coming.

The light was going,

The darkness was arising!

I was alone at my house,

And was sitting on the couch.

“Thinking about the light”,

Because it was night.

I had fear of the night,

So I always slept in dim light.

But since there was no light,

I tried to sleep tight.

                I woke up early in the night,

                Because I wanted to find some light.

    The fear was going high,

    So I went to see the sky!

The stars were shiny,

And the moon was bright.

It gave me a hope of “fighting with the dark night.”

                I took my cycle,

                And I went riding.

                I went faster and faster;

                While thinking: 

                “Living without light is harder and harder!”

I reached the top,

And there I stopped!

I fell on the ground,

And could feel no sound…

                After a while,

                I could feel something bright,

                So I opened my eyes.

                The sun was rising,

                And the rays were coming!

I was happy;

Because the scary night went, 

And the fear vanished!

    Today I learnt:

    "The nights will be dark,

    The fear will also arise;

    No need to find something bright,

    Because you are also a ray of light!"
