The story of a girl...

This story starts when a girl was born and she achieved all her dreams in her future, but everyone sees her present but no one asked her journey of life. I will tell you how was her past. She was a girl and her parents didn't want a girl to born in their family, but by blessings, she came into this world. She didn't get enough love from her parents and this made her sad. She went to a normal school, she studied well and she used to utilize her time properly, sometimes she used to use social media and in the end, her day ended on a good note. After school, she went to college and after studying for years and years she achieved all her dreams and she made her parents proud. After listening to this story you will be thinking that it is an easy story but I would want to tell you that it is not! She used to face a lot of problems in her life. I will tell you how! In her school time, she used to listen that you’re a girl and you can’t do this work because it is hard for you. She didn’t like this sentence because she always thought that she can do it. She didn’t like abusive words at all and in the public places people would use them in their daily talks. When she went to college, she used to go by bus and metro, it was very difficult for her to go in crowds because it is not safe for her. Sometimes when she was late and the day was about to end, then it was very difficult for her to trust drivers. There were more problems but in the last, she overcomes all the problems and now she is at heights of success!

                Now you all see how hard her life was! Not only her but I think almost all the women have faced these problems in her lives, and I would tell you that it had made an impact in their lives. There is a full list of crimes that are done to women, this list can never end, which includes kidnapping, rape, sexual assault, an insult to modesty, abduction, persecution for dowry, home violence, and so on. What is happening to the people who are doing these? If no action is taken against him then he thinks he is more powerful. If you think these crimes are too big then I would like to show you small crimes like:

Using abusive language in public places: some people often use abusive words in their daily conversation, okay we understand that it has become a habit but at least have some respect when you're using them in front of a woman. How would she feel? Would she feel safe? I don't think that she will feel safe at that time.

People whistles in front of women: there are some people whose mind goes down, and they used to whistles in front of women. What are you trying to do? Are you trying to be cool? Of course not, you're making a memory in the mind of the women which can never end. She would feel unsafe whenever she would recall that memory.

Using bad language/ cyberbullying on social media: Now not just the world but a social media app is not safe for a girl or a woman. Where do these people come from, who uses such language on social media that a girl would feel embarrassing?

I think this list will also go ahead, and it will not stop. Nowadays, people judge girls on their scores or studies but on really stupid things like on her style of talking, on her male friends, on her way of dressing, like seriously, she can't wear what she wants, and sometimes on her way of walking like this much of stalking people do. Here I want to ask you a question: Are you making safe spaces for women in this world? I don't think so, because if a girl feels that she can't go alone at night because she can't trust people then I don't think that our country is developing. I will also tell you why can't she trust people because the trust is broken by one person then I think it is not so surprising but if the same trust has been broken many times then it is becoming a major problem! I don’t want to say that everyone is the same in the society but we should have to make them believe that we are different, we can take the responsibility of her and we can make safe spaces for them. As I have written a blog on “not all boys are same” have a look and I think you would feel safe in front of some people who will understand you, and will take the responsibility of you and will help you whenever you need it! Try sharing your feelings with them and I hope you will both find solutions to your problems. We are the new generation of our country and we need to show that we are much better than the previous generation, we will take down all the crime to zero and we will make safe spaces for everyone in the society. I would say that give it a try, make objections whenever you see any crime happening to a woman, help her always whenever she needs it. Don't use her because it is a chance, make her believe that we exist we will take full responsibility for you, don't worry!

                 At last, I would like to thank all the people who had helped me to write this blog, I would like to tell you that it was really hard for me to write a blog with the mindset of a girl like how would a girl feel at this moment. Try searching “crime on girls” and you will see an endless list and images. Who says our country is developing? I don't think so until all the cases and images can be seen. I would request everyone to create safe spaces for everyone in the world, Lets us make a crimeless world, no crimes in the world and everyone can trust each other. I know it is difficult but at least try it with your friends make them believe that you're trustworthy and you will be there whenever anyone needs help! Let's make a change, why just make, let's change ourselves and make it the safest place for not just women but for everyone!
