Choosing the Subject Streams

You would all been given the opportunity to choose, choosing can be in toys, bags, school, bus or anything but in your life one of the most difficult decision is to choose proper subject stream but it is not difficult for everyone but this decision is difficult for those who haven't think of their future and are stuck after 10th class. In this blog, I will talk about the importance of selecting the right stream after 10th class.
There are people who had think of their life goals and are working towards that goal like if I had thought of becoming an engineer then I would take science stream and I will work further to achieve this goal. Today I saw a student in my class; he was saying, “I had taken humanities stream in a good school but I came to this school because I was getting science stream in low marks”. I was surprised that if you are not confirmed about your goal, then you should wait and think of it or you should consult your elders, this can actually have an impact on your future and then you would have no options to do. In this blog, I am not saying that choosing your stream is the most difficult decision to take but your whole life will be dependent on this decision.
I just want you all to select the proper stream for yourself and do not make a mistake in selecting the stream and if you are confused then you can consult your teachers or elders. Always remember that if you have got high marks so then you would only take the science stream and remember that no stream is wrong. I have seen people saying that humanities stream is for lower order students and science stream is for higher order students but that's totally wrong, these are just stereotypes. You need hard work to study every stream properly, do not stick between these stereotypes just do what you want to do in the future. Take the stream which can fulfill your dream and which does not ruin your future! All The Best...

  1. That's true!
You get to explore all the subjects till Xth standard, so that you are able to choose your subjects and specialise in a particular stream XIth standard onwards. What helps is consistent reflection on your strengths and weaknesses, at least IXth standard onwards, which many of us fail to do and hence, are stuck with stream of subjects that we actually don't find interest in and be mediocre for the rest of our lives.
Great thought as usual. Keep writing...
