The Sacrifice for Independence

Happy Independence Day to all! As you know our nation India got independence on 15th of August in 1947. We should be having proud of our nation. Today is the 72th independence of India.  Today many people enjoy their day with flying kites, so we can see different kites flying at the sky. Today is also the day to remember the sacrifice done by our freedom fighters. They fought for our nation so that our country can be independent. They fought for our nation until the blood finish up in their veins, they fought for our nation until their body stopped moving, and they fought for our nation until it is independent. They made us say, “We are Indians and we are free and independent”.  Always remember the names written at the India Gate, and the advice given by Mahatma Gandhi for non-violence, the voice of Bhagat Singh and Subash Chandra Bose saying “we need independence”. Always remember the death of people and their bloods at Jaliyan Wala Bagh, that place has memories of the sound of the people crying and finding a safe place when they are blindly shooted. It is easy to say it was past but it is hard to imagine and feel the pain they have. They have given lives for our nation; we should give a big salute to them.
In present, we have our Indian army at the borders, fighting for our nation so that we can sleep at night, but they are sleepless whole night, a big salute to them. The inventions that make our country feel proud, a salute to these people. The teacher, doctors, engineers, etc are always helping our country and its citizen, a salute to them too. Finally, a big salute to the our heroes and our motherland INDIA!

  1. Great thought as usual!
The meaning of Independence, in today's world, has changed from "freedom from foreign rule" to "freedom from all the negative forces that hold a nation back". In this increasingly dynamic world, it's not just the duty of the soldiers to maintain the "freedom" of a country, but also the citizens. They too have to work to ensure that their country is never ever again bound by the shackles of social evil.
